About this policy
This policy covers the PodMyPaper website and apps provided by Panda Learning Labs LLC. It explains how personal information is handled when you browse, read, listen, connect a library, or contact us. Send privacy questions to support@podmypaper.com.
Information you provide
- Your account: details such as your name, email address, and sign-in information.
- Your research: papers and documents you add, their titles and other descriptive details, your research interests, saved and liked papers, and listening activity such as progress and queue choices.
- Connected libraries: information from libraries you authorize, documents you choose to import, and permissions needed to keep the connection working.
- Your messages: information you include in a support or privacy request.
Choose carefully what you upload. Do not add another person’s confidential or personal information unless you have permission and it is appropriate for the service.
Information from using the service
We may receive information about your browser or device, IP address, sign-in sessions, and errors or activity associated with requests. We use this information to keep accounts secure, investigate problems, and maintain the service. Your listening state and preferences help you return to the papers that interest you.
How your information is used
We use information to create and secure your account, personalize research discovery, process papers, create audio conversations and briefs, maintain your library and listening progress, manage paid access, and answer your requests. We also use it to prevent misuse and meet legal and accounting obligations.
Where a legal basis is required, these uses rely on providing the service you request, complying with legal duties, legitimate interests such as security and reliable operation, or your consent where required. You may withdraw consent for a consent-based use by contacting us; this does not change earlier lawful use.
Your papers and AI features
When you request a conversation or brief, relevant paper content is processed by AI services to create that result. This may include text from a document you upload. Published research and its accompanying briefs or conversations may be available to other listeners. Your account details, personal library connections, and listening activity are not part of those public paper pages. Documents that remain private are available only to accounts with access to them.
If you use an external reference library, you choose to authorize that connection. You can disconnect it in the app. Disconnecting stops future access through that connection; it does not automatically remove papers or information you already imported. Contact us if you also want help removing imported information.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep information as needed to provide your account and chosen features, resolve support requests, protect the service, and comply with legal or accounting duties. The period depends on the type of information and why it is needed.
You can change your preferences, remove saved items, disconnect libraries, and request account deletion by contacting support. Some transaction and security records may need to remain after deletion to meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute. Cancel subscriptions separately with the service or store that bills you; uninstalling an app or requesting deletion does not by itself stop subscription charges.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to certain uses; or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Email support@podmypaper.com to make a request. Tell us what you would like to do and use your account email when possible. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity or authority to act for another person. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. Do not send your password or full payment-card details.
Children and families
Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information without the consent required by applicable law should contact support@podmypaper.com, so we can review the situation and help with removal where required.
Updates and contact
We will update the date on this page when this policy changes and provide additional notice of material changes where required. Questions about this policy, connected libraries, or account information can be sent to support@podmypaper.com.
