Using PodMyPaper

These terms apply to the PodMyPaper website and apps, provided by Panda Learning Labs LLC. PodMyPaper helps you explore research papers through audio conversations, research briefs, key takeaways, and your personal library. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the refund and cancellation policy. The privacy policy explains how your information is used.

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you use PodMyPaper for an organization, you must have authority to act for it. Keep your account details accurate and your password private, and contact support@podmypaper.com if you suspect someone else is using your account.

Your papers and permissions

You keep the rights you already hold in the papers and other materials you add. You give PodMyPaper permission to process those materials to provide the features you request, such as creating a conversation or adding a paper to your library.

Only upload, connect, or share material you have the right to use. Access to a paper does not necessarily give you permission to reproduce or distribute it. PodMyPaper does not grant rights to a publisher’s or author’s work or bypass a source’s access restrictions. Permission to use the service does not include a right to export or redistribute its audio.

Understanding the research

Conversations and briefs are generated by AI. They may contain mistakes, omit context, or interpret a finding incorrectly. They are not recordings or endorsements by the paper’s authors. Verify important facts, quotations, and conclusions against the original paper.

Use PodMyPaper as a starting point for learning, not as professional medical, legal, financial, or other advice. The original research and your own judgment remain important.

Plans and payments

You can browse papers and read research briefs for free. Pro adds audio conversations and paper imports. Current web subscription prices are US$9.99 per month or US$69.99 per year. The pricing page describes the available plans. Prices in app stores may differ.

Before purchase, you will see the price, currency, any applicable taxes, billing period, and total charge. Confirming a subscription authorizes recurring charges for the selected billing period until you cancel. We will notify you of changes to your subscription price before they take effect, and you can cancel before the next charge.

Your free trial

Eligible accounts can try a monthly or yearly subscription free for 7 days. One trial is available per account, including across purchase platforms; eligibility for an app-store offer is confirmed by that store. Lifetime purchases do not include a free trial.

Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the first payment for your selected plan is charged automatically. Your trial end date, price, and billing schedule are shown before you confirm. Cancel through the service or store that bills you to avoid the first charge.

Lifetime access

Lifetime access is a one-time purchase for Pro access for the lifetime of the PodMyPaper service, subject to its usage limits. It has no recurring renewal and does not include a free trial. The offer and total price are confirmed before you pay.

“Lifetime” refers to the period that PodMyPaper continues to offer the service; it does not mean your lifespan or a promise that the service will operate forever. We will notify affected customers of a service closure and honor applicable consumer rights.

Access and usage limits

PodMyPaper is a digital service. Paid access is available in your account once your purchase or trial is confirmed. Nothing is physically shipped. Creating audio takes additional time, and some documents may not be suitable for processing.

Pro includes up to 5 new conversation requests in any 24-hour period, including during a trial and with lifetime access. Replaying a completed conversation does not use this allowance. A new request uses an allowance when it begins, including when a paper cannot be processed; retrying that request does not use another allowance. File size and document limits also apply when adding papers. Contact support@podmypaper.com if you need help with an unsuccessful request or paid access.

Cancellation and refunds

For a web subscription, open your PodMyPaper account, view your plan, and choose Manage subscription. Cancel before the next renewal to stop future charges. Cancel before your free trial ends to avoid the first charge. After canceling a paid subscription, access continues until the end of the paid period unless a legally required refund or other termination ends it earlier.

Payments are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. This includes the first subscription payment after a free trial, renewal payments, and one-time lifetime purchases. We do not provide discretionary refunds or partial refunds for unused time.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights, including any right to withdraw from a purchase or receive a remedy for a service that is not provided as required by law.

Responsible use

Do not use PodMyPaper to infringe another person’s rights, upload unlawful content, access someone else’s private materials, bypass usage limits, or interfere with other customers’ access. The PodMyPaper name, design, and software remain the property of their respective owners.

We may restrict an account where necessary to address misuse, security concerns, nonpayment, or a legal requirement. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken. You can stop using the service at any time; cancel a paid subscription separately to prevent future charges.

Changes, availability, and your rights

Features can change, and occasional interruptions may occur. We do not promise uninterrupted access or error-free AI content. We will communicate material changes to these terms and changes that significantly affect paid access before they apply, unless a more urgent change is necessary for security or legal reasons.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights, guarantees, remedies, or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If something is wrong with the service, contact us so we can help.
